Vehicles in German Town Found Covered with Swastikas in Human Blood, Law Enforcement Report

Authorities reported they were alerted by a resident who noticed a car in Hanau smeared with reddish substance

Approximately fifty automobiles have been marked with what seems to be blood from a person in the German city of Hanau in proximity to Frankfurt, according to law enforcement.

Automobiles, exterior walls and postboxes were defaced, occasionally with Nazi symbols, they announced in a official communication.

Police state they were contacted during the night on Wednesday evening, when a individual discovered that a automobile in the Lamboy neighborhood of Hanau had been marked with a red-colored fluid.

The fluid had been drawn in the pattern of a swastika, they reported.

Law enforcement then located multiple other smeared automobiles and residential walls in the adjacent neighborhood.

These symbols are banned in Germany under legislation prohibiting the public exhibition of Nazi-era symbols.

Police state early analysis suggest the liquid was likely human bodily fluid.

"At present there remains no clue as to its source; investigators are not yet cognizant of any injuries in association with the event," they commented.

City officials said they were working "to unravel the incident" and have asked to the community for information.

A senior representative said the vandalism made him speechless and needed to be solved quickly.

"This act affects the center of Hanau and revives the wounds of the extremist violent incident in 2020," he stated on social media, referring to the death of nine people by a shooter targeting individuals of immigrant origin in 2020.
